Executive Committee (EC)

The Executive Committee is made up of 9 (nine) distinguished professionals from various fields. All General
Council (GC) and Executive Committee (EC) meetings are chaired by the President of the Executive
Committee (EC). The EC has the authority to provide the organization with broad policy guidelines. The
Executive Director is appointed by the Executive Committee. He reports to EC and is in charge of the dayto-
day operations and management of Gono Unnayan Prochesta. He also serves as the Secretary General
of Executive Committee. The Executive Committee works for a period of 3 (three) years. During reporting
period 06 Nos. meetings were successfully held.
Senior Management Committee (SMC )

The Executive Director, Directors, Deputy Directors, and Assistant Directors make up the Senior Management
Committee (SMC). The Executive Director (ED) leads the SMC and manages and implements Gono Unnayan
Prochesta’s Programmes and projects with the help of Senior Management Committee. There are 9 (nine)
members in the SMC.
