Preface
We are happy to share the Annual Report 2024–2025 of Gono Unnayan Prochesta, which highlights our achievements, lessons, and experiences from the year. The report covers programmes in five main areas: Economic, Social, Health, Education, Agriclture and Support initiatives. These include Microfinance, livestock projects such as goat breeding and poultry, fish farming, tree planting, the Peace Centre, education programmes, disaster management, physiotherapy and rehabilitation services, annual eye camps, capacity building, and the ENRICH/Somriddhi Programme.
We also continued important collaborations, including RAISE, sanitation and drinking water projects, income generating activities with the Bangladesh NGO Foundation, Bangladesh Rural Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) for Human Capital Development (HCD) Project with Palli Karma-Sahayak Foundation, and Field Level Water Quality Monitoring Project with HYSAWA.
This report presents our key activities with clear facts and figures, supported by info graphics, inspiring success stories, and vivid photographs making it both informative and engaging.
We sincerely thank the government departments of Bangladesh such as Forestry, Livestock Services, Education, Social Welfare, NGO Affairs Bureau, Joint Stock Company, Microcredit Regulatory Authority (MRA), Palli Karma-Sahayak Foundation, Local Administration, and Local Government for their valuable support and cooperation. Their contributions have been vital in helping Gono Unnayan Prochesta successfully carry out its planned activities.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to our international partners, development organizations, and donors for their constant support, which has been vital in advancing Gono Unnayan Prochesta’s mission.
