In the fiscal year 2022-2023, under the Programme called Recovery and Advancement of Informal Sector Employment (RAISE) Project funded by Palli Karma- Sahayak Foundation, Gono Unnayan Prochesta is conducting activities through 11 Branches, including 8 branches in the District of Madaripur and 3 Branches in the District of Gopalganj, to restore the initiatives of small entrepreneurs affected by COVID-19. Under this project, a loan of Tk. 3,00,00,000 (Taka Three Crores) was distributed among the members. Later, under this project, a loan of Tk.1,20,00,000 (Taka One Crore and Twenty lac) was distributed for young entrepreneurs from low income families. In addition, a loan of Tk. 1,25,70,000 (Taka One Crore Twenty Five Lac and Seventy Five Thousand) was distributed from the revolving fund of Gono Unnayan Prochesta. That is, a total of Tk. 5,45,70,000 (Taka Five Crore Forty Five Lac Seventy Thousand) has been distributed among 469 people under this project. Of these, Tk. 5,18,70,000 (Taka Five Crore Eighteen Lac and Seventy Thousand) has been distributed among 449 female members and Tk. 27,00,000 (Taka Tweenty Seven Lac ) among 20 male members.
